It’s sad, but true, that many Christians go through life without really knowing God, yet God longs to be known. He wants to be involved in every aspect of your life.

The spiritual realm is just as real as the physical realm but many people are unaware of that because their spiritual senses are dull from lack of use.

There is a spiritual kingdom all around you waiting for you to recognise it.

Belief in the invisible lies at the heart of your Christian walk. To have faith is to be sure of the things you hope for, to be certain of the things you can’t see. I encourage you to stop separating the physical and the spiritual in your thinking; to grow in God and the things of the Spirit you need to move your attention from the seen to the unseen realm.

Are you ready to become otherworldly. If you really want to follow God and go deeper with Him you need to become more spiritually minded.

Tozer said,

‘We must avoid the common fault of pushing the ‘other world’ into the future. It is not future, but present. It parallels our familiar physical world, and the doors between the two worlds are open.’

Your spiritual eyes and ears may be weak because you haven’t used them much but it doesn’t have to stay that way. You can learn to use your spiritual eyes. You are in Christ and with the Holy Spirit’s help you can have eyes to see and ears to hear. As you begin to focus more on the Lord you will begin to see and hear the things of the Spirit.

God is waiting for you to respond to His presence

I strongly encourage you to draw aside and spend time with Jesus in the secret place. Invest  in developing a closer walk with God, I promise you that your life will never be the same.

Lord, give me eyes to see and ears to hear. Enable me to look and see with your eyes. Help me to be more aware of your presence. Make yourself known to me in a more real way. Help me to be as at home in the spiritual realm as I am in the earthly realm. Help me to live more and more in the power of Your Spirit. I long to have continual fellowship with you. Lead me Lord, show me how.
